WEEK 15 BREAKDOWN!

Welcome back to Da' Bar!  Been a couple of days but I have been doing some work on getting other topics lined up and restocking the bar.  Tonight I am laying out my Week 15 NFL picks after going 11-4 last week.  This week has some much tougher games to pick and some great story lines.....SO without further delay here we gooooo.....

Dolphins at Bills:

Tony "Soprano" Sporano's days as head football coach for the Miami Dolphins are over.  At least this way the owners told him to his face(I wonder if it was J-Lo or Marc Anthony who broke the news) instead of letting the media know they were looking for a replacement before firing him.  The Buffalo Bills keep trying to get back to the feel good story we thought they were at the beginning of the season, but they just cant get off the schneid.  Mental mistakes and a shaky at best defense have made Ryan Fitzpatricks job that much harder (Well that and Stevie Johnson dropping big time catches shooting his team in the....nevermind).  Interim Head Coaches and Matt Moore make it tough to lose though..Lets Go Buffalo!  Dolphins---17 Bills---27

Titans at Colts:

Andrew Luck's future team is just going to again prove Payton Manning is the MVP of the league and CJ2K may run for 2K tomorrow....Again, how no one is talking about Caldwell losing his job is beyond me.  Titans---20 Colts---6

Bengals at Rams:

The Cincinnati Bengals let a HUGE opportunity slip past them last week and they made Tyler Yates look like, well Tim Tebow.  They can not afford another let down to stay in the playoff hunt, but they get the good fortune to play the next head coachless team in the NFL, the St. Louis Rams.  I expect that Andy Dalton and AJ Green are going to have a HUGE day and St Louis will prove again that staying in LA was a good idea and that Spagnola is going to be fired.  Bengals---34 Rams---12

Redskins at Giants:

The Redskins go from bad to worse with each pass Rex Grossman leads.  They should have drafted Tebow and didnt.  Could Donovan McNabb have been this much worse...Even now I still couldnt say yes. The Giants are coming off a GREAT win against Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys to take the lead in the NFC East.  You are never quite sure though, which Giants team is going to show, and these NFC East games are usually pretty tight.  Hold your breath on this one ladies.....Redskins---16 Giants---13

Lions at Raiders:

It continues to be the story of 2 halves with the Lions.  Last week they looked like the early season Lions in teh first half, only to almost lose to Minnesota in the final seconds.  Da RRRRRRaidas miss Run DMC big time and Hue Jacksons team is falling apart mentally.  Carson Palmer needs to find a groove and that Raiders D that played so well early needs to come back to have a chance.  With that said, Megatron ahs been quite for a couple weeks and Kevin Smith is coming back.....Lions---38  Raiders---28

Jets at Eagles:

On paper this should be a no brainer for the Eagles, but as a once wise Kenny Mayne once said.."Games arent played on paper.  They are played in TV sets".  The NY Jets and Philadelphia Eagles should be a great game, but it wont be.  Both teams have played ugly football all year and need to play light years better down teh stretch to have a chance at the playoffs (Both foregone conclusions in the preseason).  Vick is back...The Jets D is slow and aging...the "Sanchize" is up and down, last week up this week way down.  Jets--17 Eagles---23

Seahawks at Bears:

The Bears D is angry to be the latest TEBOW Time victim, and the Seahawks could pay dearly.  Here's the issue though, Marshawn Lynch cant be tackled right now and the Bears STINK at tackling.  Seahawks---16 Bears---13

Packers at Chiefs:

Really any questions here?  Todd Haley is gone, the players are happy.  Then they look at game film and let out a collective..Shiiiiiitttt.  WITH Eric Berry they still barely have a chance and he aint playin.  The Pack takes another step towards perfection..Packers---41 Chiefs---17

Saints at Vikings:

Saints dont play another game during the regualr season outdoors, which is good for them during the regular season, but will hamper them in the playoffs because Green Bay doesn't have unseasonably warm 70 degree days in January.  The NFC spot in the Super Bowl runs through Title town and its miserable winter weather.  That said, this game should be a blowout and Drew Brees will continue the quietest record breaking season ever. (Somebody check that Nyquil bottle) Saints---38 Vikings---17

Panthers at Texans:

Tyler Yates will try to help the AFC South Champions welcome the Cam Newtons's to town.  Newton has been amazing but he has NO help what so ever.  I still gotta believe the Texans are gonna crash with Tyler Yates even after the masterful game winning drive he orchestrated last week.  Arian Foster seems to have hit some kind of wall....Panthers---24 Texans---21

Patriots at Broncos:

What will be the most watched game this weekend, Tammy Brady and the Patriots will travel to Denver to face the Mile High Messiah and try to end Tebow Time.  Tammy's problem though is the Denver D is shut down awesome and her D is 200+ yards away from the worst D EVER.  Combine all of that with the Tebow-mania running rampant in Denver, and the Patriots are in for probably their toughest test this year (so far).  Billy B however is a worlds better coach than any one Jesus' little brother has faced yet and he will not make teh same mistakes other teams made, which was letting up on the pressure.  I am a full fledged member to the Church of Tebow but The Disney Movie ends today...Patriots---23 Broncos--20

Browns at Cardinals:

The NFL throws in one of these each week.....The Game no one (even in Phoenix and Cleveland) cares about or will watch.....Browns---10 Cardinals---14

Ravens at Chargers:

The Chargers are finally playing good, but now they host the best team in the AFC. The Baltimore Ravens simply need to win the next 3 games to be the #1 seed in the AFC. They contriol their own destiny while the Chargers blew theirs with a terrible losing streak (Cementing the notion that Norv Turner is a bad head coach).  The Ravens will bring the pressure that causes Philip Rivers to make the mistakes he made earlier this year, and the Ravens will march out of San Diego (German for Whales Vagina in case you were wonder) winners.  Ravens---24 Chargers---13

Steelers at 49ers:

This should be a GREAT MNF game!  Wait Ben's ankle is not getting better?  James Harrison is suspended (more on that later tomorrow)?  That doesnt matter because this will stiull be a very good game.  The Steelers are a very very well coached team (Mike Tomlin is as good as it gets, IMO) and the Niners are pissed about their letdown last week vs teh Cardinals.  Frank Gore is a little banged up but I am guessing Jim Harbaugh called his brother for some pointers this week and that will be the difference.  Steelers---14 49ers---20

What do you think?  Disagree with my picks?  Lets hear it bar mates.......We ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS!!
